Ishana movies have created magic by showing the all-time favorite treasure of Bengali culture through the series ‘’Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’’ directed by Anurag Basu. This series was first premiered on Epic Channel and afterward, shown on Netflix. The first season comprises 26 episodes. All episodes can take you to the golden heritage and pure culture of Bengal which is unmatched. This series is like a magnet once you start watching it, you will end up watching whole episodes back to back without break. Anurag Basu has done a marvelous direction and each episode is so rich in every sense, whether it’s a star cast, or costumes, or locations everything so evolving and natural and above all classic stories by the Bengali writer and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. These 26 episodes are the compilation of 14 short stories written by Rabindra Nath Tagore. In his short stories and literary work, Tagore highlighted more on relationships and it’s complexities thus challenged the protagonist women with that of the conservative society of that time. He tried to bring a shift in the mindset of traditional Indian values where rebellion, adultery, sorrow, and death were taboo. Original scores and Bengali songs of Rabindra were recreated. Indian singers Arijit Singh, Shaan, and Shalmali Kholgade has lent their excellent and melodious voice for the soundtracks. A must-watch by all.

This series is just close to my heart as I always saw my Mom watching it and never understood why she liked it so much until I got an opportunity to watch it on Netflix. This story revolves around a family of mother and her three daughters, and the whole plot slowly shifts to two people and both are opposite in thoughts and having different financial status, and has a strong female protagonist, contributing to its popularity amongst women.‘’Zindagi Gulzaar Hai’’ written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Sultana Siddiqui. Starring Sanam Saeed, Fawad Khan. This series comprises 26 episodes. It was viewed widely across the Indian subcontinent and majorly in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. This series has beautifully explained the hurdles and challenges of three daughters who establish themselves in a way they want to in order to achieve their identity out of conservative culture. The more you see the more you like it.
Moral of Story: Hurdles and challenges are part of life. Only with confidence, clarity, and determination, one can achieve what one wants in life. Be confident and fight for self-dignity even in adversity. This might make your journey difficult but the result will be amazing.

During Quarantine TVF has come up with great videos which are engaging, entertaining and the best part is that they unconsciously inspire as well.
On Prime Video, recently watched the whole 7 episodes back to back. Another byproduct of Kota factory makers TVF has added another feather in their good work list i.e. ‘’Panchayat’’.
A story of middle-class aspirant studious introvert any next door guy, maybe like one of us who has finished his studies and enter in a world of earning butter and bread. The very first job he gets is just opposite to the job he dreamed of. Out of his frustration and day-to-day challenges, he comes out as a winner and slowly starts loving his job. This is so far is experienced in season One. This season one episode has smartly been able to establish the fact that You must love and enjoy what you do. Easily understood and reflected the rural life, their priorities, and challenges perfectly. And also showcased their innocent, harmless behavior which is untouched and unpolluted by urban mentality. Their happiness lies in achieving small goals like light availability, celebrating crop productions, helping each other in their daily task. This series has undoubtedly amazed us by the simplicity and generous humor. the clean entertaining story can be watched peacefully during the lockdown. The best part was it was even being watched by my kid. And that’s the fact that if you make any video and it’s appreciated and understood by kids then that means it’s worth watching. Something fresh and inspiring. Can be seriously seen with kids
Moral of the story: You must love what you do. Always be adaptive and give your 100 percent. The best will come out naturally.

A web series of 9 episodes. The season which was premiered on prime video on 15 May 2020. ‘’Paatal Lok’’ is a byproduct of Clean Slate Films having stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishwar Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee. It is loosely based on Tarun Tejpal’s 2010 novel ‘’The Story of My Assassins’’. This story is about a middle-aged cop who has full of regrets inside and yet performing his duties and he lands up himself in a case of an assassination attempt that gone wrong. This story has highlighted some of the hidden facts that how any normal human gets into a criminal mess and the powerful goons, politician, industrialist or personalities use them and finally get rid of them. Content has lots of bold scenes and the language is even more rough and local which starts with slangs and ends with slangs. Every time when you by-chance become curious to know what's going to happen, someone or other might be either shouting slangs or end up killing or abusing others and they have justified ground and reason for killing. Full of drama, thrills, and abuse.
Moral Of Story: Right kind of education, guidance, knowledge, and a healthy environment should be encouraged to make everyone a better responsible citizen.

The series has got the famous star cast under one roof and the story revolves around 6 Mothers, their kids, and the expectation while raising their kids.
This series revolves around the upbringing of the kids by moms who have different cultures, backgrounds. The episode started with a good note but then eventually lost the essence by the end.
Moral of Story: Motherhood at the end is a blessing and has its own commitment. For some, it’s the way of competition and for some, it’s just a form of giving and nurturing.

An Indian Hindi Drama web series created and produced by Juggernaut productions for online platforms ALT Balaji and ZEE5. This thriller series has Jennifer Winget, Tanuj Virwani, and Rajat Kapoor. It was released on 15 January 2020. It consists of 8 episodes.
As soon as ALTBalaji's names come in, the imaginations go with something erotic and senseless series but thankfully as the series started unfolding its mystery, it started getting interesting. It a powerful storyline with showcasing on military lifestyle. Overall the background music was very powerful. The acting was pretty decent with much ok kind of dialogues. Moreover, it was good to see a woman in dress lead the way. The real acting comes towards the end of the series and she is passable in them. It’s the usual ALTBalaji masala style.
Moral of Story: Sometimes what is seen or heard is not always true. Never reaches on conclusion without self-analyzing the situation or person with facts. It's always better to make opinions or decisions based on facts.
Content summary: The screenplay was no doubt good enough. It engaged the audience smartly. Content has unnecessarily too much harsh slangs and violence which could be avoided, but if it's crime or thriller then what more is expected. Web series latest style of showing frustration, anger, and anguish in the form of slang is the latest trend that can be too dangerous for upcoming kids, thanks to ALTBALAJI for showing the wrong way to the kids.

Another series called ‘’Hundred’’ a Hindi action comedy for the online streaming platform by Hotstar and directed by Ruchi Narain and her partners. This series of 8 episodes for the first season has fun elements for the audience.
Larra Dutta and Rinku Rajguru in lead roles. Both from different strata and looking forward to achieving their goals but unable to do so and finally they unite to shape up their dreams with the support of each other.
The story has action, comedy, and adventures and can be watched once but nothing new or so-called ‘’Hat-ke’’ factor which can actually bind the audience.
Moral of Story: Everyone in life gets one chance to fulfill their dreams and desires so until then keep working.
Content summary: The episode started with a good note but then eventually lost the essence by the end. It's a one-time watch. The story has nothing new which can make it apart from other series.
