When you change the quality of your thinking you change the quality of your life!

The way you instantly smile and laugh at jokes, similarly, there are thoughts and words that can instantly change your way of thinking and mind. That’s the reason you find motivational words or messages more interesting over a period of time.



Words are more powerful than swords, believe me. If you take your past and start remembering then, you will realize that the first thing that comes to your mind are those words that hurt you the most and then those words or people who inspired you the most or helped you in some or other way, and these words will be in your memories and thoughts every time whenever you will experience anything which will affect you internally. It's a very natural phenomenon that you get influenced, envy, or inspired because you see something that is missing in you, and that is what you want to incorporate in yourself. Sometimes it takes a decade to achieve those changes or sometimes it happens all of sudden. Sometimes you get to explore yourself slowly or sometimes you see an instant and drastic change in yourself. It differs from person to person. Let's find out more about the change the people go through.




It was one of the monsoon evenings. Cool breeze and clouds were dancing together as if they wanted to convey some story and to complement this beautiful evening, I had my two companions a tea and my best pal Vaibhav to make it more enjoyable. We discussed on lot many topics, issues, and our old friends as well. While trying to find out about few old friends, out of curiosity, what I observed through their social sites and wall was a drastic and unpredictable change in them. Some became monks and went back to their small native towns during pandemics. While others changed their profession or started associated with people of different walks of life and they were doing pretty good. While few had drastically changed their way of life and their outlook. Their actions were still haunting my mind and I couldn’t get over it. It was hard to get away from that as I never expected them to be the person they were today. As their present lifestyle, actions and attitude were just opposite to their personality which I saw or personified 20 years back. While I was a bit puzzled about their sudden changes and obviously wanted to know the reasons behind it, my friend interrupted me and said “, 'Preety' this kind of sudden changes happens, when one experiences a major unpredictable change or go through the episode which he never expected for himself or he might have never thought to happen to him’’. While elaborated he further said, “that after experiencing these sudden unpredictable change he or she sinks or raise and comes out in the new form that is known as “Bodhgyan” in common language. I felt that this was what the Buddha might have felt under Banyan Tree after experiencing events and incidents in his life. That single thinking or feeling changed Buddha’s life and the life of thousands. The term ‘Bodhgyan’ no doubt is indeed true. The change that happened to him changed his quality of life, and this change was seen among his people or followers in their lifestyle.



You see yourself, the way you think and feel about yourself

One thing that controls and operates you and this universe is the thinking or a feeling which you create within yourself. What happens when your mind is full of certain thoughts? This feeling or thought influences your thinking and this, in turn, determines your next step and the action you are going to take and hence you get the result out of it. That is the reason you keep on looking for inspiration or thoughts from nature. These thoughts or words are more powerful or provoking than you so that you can push yourself forward and keep yourself moving. I feel that any things that inspire you are the quickest way to retune you in a certain way. These thoughts with the time period, build up a certain kind of environment in the mind that moves you further with certain goal that kills you or make you. Most of the time you cannot control your future, but you can control your plan of action by being tough on yourself in thinking in a certain way and thereby by committing yourself to a certain goal and bring about a change in yourself, that’s what the Buddha did. And this of course depends on the way you believe in yourself in a certain way. And when you realize that a certain way is improving you, then you look for more similar kinds of thoughts, which can further help you in achieving the desired action which can further move you forward. This is the reason in the early morning you look for good thoughts and motivational words to uplift the spirit because nothing can impact you the way your morning thoughts or thinking affect you and make you ready for your wonderful day. And hence your way of thinking sometimes change your quality of life. So check it now.
